How could I not speak about the Peruvian national drink! You can find it in every bars or restaurants and every guides will joke about the effect of this delicious beverage… which is in effect surprisingly strong!

Week 4 – The selection of this week was not easy. We visited Arequipa, a wonderful UNESCO World Heritage city, and discovered the Cañon de Colca, crossing an impressive high plateau reaching an altitude of 4910m and surrounded by 8 volcanoes.
The shrimp chowder, great delicacy of Arequipa, is pure happiness! In general I don’t really like seafood soups (except the fantastic clam chowder from New England!), but I absolutely fell in love with the chupe de camarones!
In Europe there is this legend about the Peruvians who eat the cute little guinea pig… Well, this is not a legend!
Week 3 – Despite its foggy winter, Lima turned out to be a wonderful relaxing stop on our way to the South.
Another gorgeous ceviche!
The Peruvian ceviche is known worldwide!
Week 2 – Today was the first Peruvian road trip.
We had the PERFECT plan!
The hike to Laguna Churup was supposed to be a very nice acclimation walk…
Week 1 – After 4 days in the busy and noisy Huaraz, we decided to escape the city and take refuge in the mountains.
In order to prepare longer treks at high altitude, it was good to start with a short one near the dynamic city of Huaraz.
Peaceful gourmet break after a delicious afternoon of massages.
Week 0 – Let’s start with an overview of ZeTrip!
Fabulous souvenir of the Roys Peak hike.
