There is a war between Peru and Chile about the ownership of the alcohol Pisco. Both countries claim being the original one and both of them are very proud to offer its own version of the Pisco Sour.
The cocktail is made of Pisco, lime juice, sugar and ice. The Peruvian recipe will add egg white and the traditional 3 dots of Angostura bitters on the top.
Of course, we had to taste both!
I think I prefer the Chilean one which is a little bit sweeter, but both are perfect to celebrate the evening, the sale of a car or the start/end of a long fabulous trip!
